Geethanjali (Malayalam: ഗീതാഞ്ജലി) is an upcoming psychological thriller Malayalam film written by Dennis Joseph and directed by Priyadarshan. Mohanlal will play the lead role in this film. He plays the character Dr. Sunny Joseph (the character he acted blockbuster Manichitrathazhu 1993), even though this film is not a result of Manichitrathazhu. [1] With Mohanlal, Innocent & Ganesh Kumar will be reprising their characters, Unnithan & Dasappan, from Manichitrathazhu. Priyadarshan has worked as a director second unit, with Siddique-Lal and Sibi Malayil in Manichitrathazhu. The film was produced by GP Vijayakumar under the banner of Seven Arts International. The music department is managed by Vidyasagar and Prof. ONV Kurup. Lalgudi N. Ilayaraja, who won the National Film Award for best production design in 2012 manages the art department ..
